Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades.
Firstly, we will pick you up from your Hotel or Riad and start our Morocco 7 day desert trip from Marrakech. Thirdly, we will wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and have breakfast before we drive to Fes city. In other words, the dunes of Erg Chebbi are the tallest dunes in Morocco, reaching around 250 high. As a result, we’ll keep driving our 7 day desert trip via the wonderful Ziz Valley carved through volcanic rock and cedar forest where Barbary Monkeys live. You also get to feed the monkeys close up and they are very familiar to humans – this is an interesting route with a stop for lunch in Midelt before continuing on to Fes city towards Ifrane. Day 4: Fes Sighseeing tour.
Today, we will have a guided city tour to explore the labyrinth medina of Fes. Moreover, Fes medina offers you a pleasant stay: Medina, Riads, Traditional Crafts, Tanneries and Gates. Therefore, we will discover the main attractions and monuments of the city including the royal gate, ceramic and tanneries. As well, the tour guide will ensure to see the beautiful royal palace gate (outside) and certain panoramic views. Besides, the ceramic factory is worth seeing and getting to know about local mosaic art. Therefore, Mosaic art has been used for thousands of years to bring unique identity to interiors of Riads and palaces. In other words, the city of Fes is known for its quality leather products. Day 5: Fes to Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we will drive straight to Chefchaouen city from Fes via Ouazzane. The city is well known as a nestled town in the Rif Mountains near Tangier. So, you’ll find unbelievable panoramic views over the blue city and great opportunities to take photos too. Moreover, you enjoy a walk through the old medina, visit the Kasbah, and watch the sunset from the Spanish Mosque. Besides, Place Outa el Hammam is the main square of the ancient neighborhood of Medina comprising the symbolic Grand Mosque and the 15th-century Kasbah. The Chefchaouen medina is an endless maze of narrow winding alleys that lead you to hidden corners and cute little spots around the town. Day 6: Chefchaouen to Rabat.
Today, we will continue our 7 day desert tour from Chefchaouen to Rabat. In other words, we will get to visit the most historical sites in the administrative city of Morocco. For example, the Kasbah of Oudayas and the Hassan Tower. Rabat has a long and storied history, dating back to the 12th century when it was founded by the great Almohad ruler, Abd al Mumin. Day 7: Rabat to Casablanca.
We will leave Rabat, the Morocco amainistrave city, to Casablanca or Moroccan economic city. Casablanca is really known for the mosque that was built on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean. Then, the construction of Hassan II Mosque was completed in 1993. Moreover, Rick’s Cafe, the mythical saloon from the 1942 film “Casablanca” has finally been transformed from celluloid to restaurant.
